This is the Brengun Models 1/144 Tupolev G.5 torpedo boat, a resin and photo-etch kit. The full build article is in the current issue of Airfix magazine.

Fabulous Mike ! Id never heard of this before now and have to admit when i first saw it I thought it was a midget sub!! A fascinating craft and a superb model , without the paint tinlet I'd have said it was a much larger scale . Excellent work on a tiny kit , cheers tony

I though this too, weird design. Nicely done Mike, this looks awesome, and it is a change from the usual aeroplanes.

As a torpedo boat fan I love it. I still can't get over the quality of your tiny builds. Hell I wish my 1/35 boats where that good.

Wot! No wings?

I'm so used to drooling over your aircraft builds I didn't even look at the title of your thread before I opened it. Nevertheless, this has the same immaculate build quality that your aircraft have. I like it very much.

Thank you for the kind words. I hope Brengun produce some more subjects in this scale, the kit was pretty much flawless (though the decals sucked).

That is a lovely build Mike, looks really good and the scale means it is even more impressive, nice job.

Very nice!

Is it just me or do the camouflage colours look a lot like the British Temperate Sea Scheme (Extra Dark Sea Grey/Dark Slate Grey) as applied to aircraft likely to operate over water?

Cheers
