Hi Paul.


I think the change is accurate to the picture.


I'm working on the Scale 75 medieval hunter and I had painted the gambeson a mid brown with yellow ochre and titanium white highlight's,I saw the picture and thought sod it I'm not changing now.


Back to your's I think you have done a good job with the change.

your right,I do real like the change you made gives a lot more death to the padding,Paul,


he is coming along very nicely, ;)


and thank you for the tips as well along the way,some what would be of help is leather ,


the get a very different look ,for one shad to another or even a different color of leather,


as I tend to be in this rut with it at the moment ,my hand always go to the same,color


with out real adding to it,just a block I,think with it,:confused::rolleyes:

Moni leather can be quite difficult and yes i normally go for the same colours, if you are using a burnt umber for the base colour, try using orange for the highlights and blus for the darker shades, and for the edges try a flesh colour, vallejo do a set of colours for leather which i have just ordered so ill let you know what they are like
