Crash course in tissue covering ( open structures )

Obtain a piece of cotton cloth, lay this flat on your bench, cut tissue to size, lay on cloth, spray all over heavily with a garden spray, fold cloth over tissue and dab with the back of your hand, pull back cloth.
Now apply gluestick all around the part of model that needs tissue, with a coat hangar wire loop lift the damp tissue from cloth, apply to model and pull more spanwise than chordwise to remove wrinkles, press down edges with your finger dipped in water.
Leave alone and go and make yourself a drink, return and with glasspaper block run around the edge of tissue, tissue will part company beautifully, stand back and admire your lovely taught frame.
( Can also be used to make pre-shrunk tissue for delicate models that need no doping )
