| For edge painting I use artists watercolour pencils, just dampen the edges and run the pencil around, the pencils offer excellent control and come in many interesting colours such as charcoal, brick kiln red, moss green, soot black etc etc,you can either buy them in beautiful sets or as individual items.
Convenient,clean and easy to use.
Johnny,I think your models are just great,it shows in your pictures the pleasure that you derive from them.
You are a true ambassador for card modelling and an inspiration to us all.

| LOL there you see....colors is not my thing....
Starting to make the "windows" today. They are going to be movable, and the parts and holes are really small.....even on this 1:16 scale.
Holes are 0,6mm and the rods used are 0,5mm
The drawing and the parts to be used
I also put in a glass instad of the printed one. |

| The level of details even amazes me Richard! And I'm also amazed when I manage to put together tiny items with my "not so small" hands....
The time used for theese operations.....don't ask...
But over to some bigger stuff!
I have started on the upper part of the chassis.
I replaced the printed "net" on the ventilation holes with some painted gaz.
The inside is almost finished. The part 23 is the gunholder and will be put in when it's all assembled.
And working on finishing the "windows" in between.... |
