ust a minor update.
Since I'm working a lot this period, nothing much have been done on the Greif.
But tonight I puzzled with the lock and door to the toolbox.
The metalparts will be painted!!

The door isn't glued yet, so the fit will be better when I have finished with the drawers and tools inside

Thanks Guys!

I think my skills are quite normal....I also have a lot of thumbs....
So anyone that have been into modelling can build papermodels.
It's not that difficult at all.As long as the parts have a good fit, and you have good drawings, it's almost a piece of cake.It just takes a while to build it

The rear door.

Drawing

Some of the main parts

The box and the grid

The finished door

I think I'll wait to put the door onto the model yet.....
I have a tendency to destroy things that I don't want to

Made an axe and the " thing" in front of it. Maybe it's some kind of "turning light"

Will continue making details here and there while I'm building tracks.....

The small axe and the hack.

Axe and hack

Both

Both items are put where they belong.

Overview

Sometimes it can be a problem to see the scale, so I have made two pics with an 1euro coin.

Thanks Gaz!
It's all paper, but of course some other material has to be used such as small metalrods, some wooden parts etc, that is usually described in the manual.

The gun and shield

The amount of detail in this model is amazing!

I was scratchbuilding some small parts in styrene, and wanted to know how those tiny hinges are put together for the hatches on the engine bay like these:

What have you used for the hinge pins and also are the hinges actually formed by rolling card around the pin so they actually operate?

It's the little details like that that really add to the sense of realism.

That Euro coin looks huge in some of those images, especially the interior shots! Hard to believe how fine that detail is.
