Hello Alan!

Here are some shots of how the hinges are made.

The drill is 1mm and so are the small pins, bought in a hardwarestore.
Hope this was what you were looking for Alan!

Started with the canholder and making the rest of the cans.

And the last detail on the fender.

I also started to paint on the soldiers that will be a part of the scene.
Here are the boxes.....

I'm still not sure how you manage to cut out such tiny parts of card so cleanly and precisely...

Some of those bits look better than what a laser cutter would do.

A very sharp exel knife with blade #11 and a metal ruler is the clue Alan!

Weeks goes pretty fast.....
But just a small update so you don't think I'm doing nothing

The tracks and wheels takes some time to accomplish.
The work is kind of slow....my speed is about 5-10 tracks assembled and painted each day, and a wheel or two.

Tracks...37 made so far

Wheels.
One side completed

Hi Johnny,

Just had my first proper read of this thread since you started and I can only say I am thoroughly impressed at what is a truly awesome model, The level of detail is fantastic and as has been said so many times, It's hard to believe that it's made from Card...!!

I can see this one being another beautifully finished model like the last one, your patience and skill certainly has to be admired.

Keep the Pics coming, Looking forwards to seeing the Finished item.

Regards.....Mark.

Another update on the Greif.
I have been working on wheels, tracklinks and other details lately.

Unfortunately I have lost some of the parts during my move to the new construction site, so I had to make the wheels without some parts( luckily they are hidden parts inside the wheels)
So I had to do some braintwisting figuring how to make the wheels without the parts and improvise to get them look like the others.

The tow hook.

The finished wheels....just 3 more to go

Some parts that will be put on later since it's so easy to damage them at this stage.

Some handgrips over the drivers head

I'm not sure what to call this part...

The pile of jerrycans rises!

At last a couple of overviews of the finished side

This is a fabulous model and a real credit to you Johnny. Many thanks for taking the time to show us the build process and taking the superb pictures as well.
