Hello guys!

This is not going to be a build thread....only some shots.
This kit is so easy to assemble, the fit is great, few parts, nice coloring and weathering, ok instructions.
The tank is a small amhibious one.Soviet type from ww2.

Lucky as I was, I got myselves an assembly team
Hope you enjoy the shots, and the team will get colored very shortly!!

I have also made a small diorama for the small tank.
It's a winter dio. I sprayed a stonebrick with Christmas snow.....planted some trees ans throw some small rocks in!

More to come......

Continued working on the T40.

The rudders and the propeller

I also started the crazy work adding rivets......now I see I shouldn't have been thinking about that....Spent all day yesterday doing the rivets and I'm not half way to finish that part yet.

Some part on the front....

An update of the progress....

Some hatch...

Finished riveting the turret

Making wheels..

Exhaust pipe

The rivet count is now over 900.....so I hope that part of this build is almost over. There are some left on the wheels, but thats just peanuts

Hello jankers!

The tool is made for making holes in different materials, mainly for making holes in leather. But it's very useful for any holemaking and rivets in different sizes.
I have bits in sizes from 1 to 5mm in 0,5mm increments.

Headlights.
I guess I have too much time on my hands with all this vacations....
So I decided to try to enhance the headlights a bit.

First I made the body of the lights. This is a tiny part with a diameter of 6mm.

Next I made a reflector of aluminium foil

And glued that to the "cup"

Then I made the glass and frame

I made a light bulb of a 1,8mm disk painted silver and hang it upside down for a bit with a drop of gloss varnish to simulate the glass part of it.It's a bit tiny so you can barely see it inside the light

And at last I added the "leg"

I'd strongly suggest not using peanuts for the rivet detail on the wheels, They might look a little out of scale!

Johnny,

If you feel like 'skimping' on the reflectors, i have used the silver-backed film the car-shops use to face the inside of windows on some searchlights and 'port-holes' on my model ships.

I simply super-glue the material to the back of a clear sheet of plastic and cut to size. It does, however, show the lights as being"on" all the time.
