Before adding the top skin I cut out all the small stripes in the air inlets and made a black net underneath.I was thinking that it would look better that way,and it did

Then I put on the rest of the skins.

Looks like the new build is off to a good start there! Did you pause for breath after completing the old Austin Armoured Car?

Nice choice of subject too, it's unusual to see Japanese Armoured Vehicle models. Is this another Draf Model kit?

The turret

The turret was to be made tonight.

Frames from Draf made it quick to assemble the structure.

Adding the skins was easy.Every part fitted 100%

The hatch was made of several parts.3 parts made the bottom structure.and 13 parts to make the top.

And we have a turret.

Some closeups.

Placed the almost finished turret on top of the hull.

There are a few items left on the turret, but I'll wait with those details til the end since I have a nasty habit of making small fragile things fall off....

The second mudguard is in place.

Also added some details at the rear end.

And in between I'm preparing parts for the drive wheels.

Cover over the front drive wheel.OMG I can spot a white stripe there!! That bloody digital faultfinder!!

Some of the finished parts for the right side center suspension

The rear belt adjustment

Front drive axel

My last shift today!! Now I'm off for 3 weeks vacation
See you when I'm back!!
Behave and take care

Lately I have been working on wheels and parts for the suspension.

Parts for two sets of wheels

The first two wheels assembled

The four inner front and rear leading wheels.

The two adjustable rear wheels

Four of the center wheels

The front and rear suspension arms.

The finished parts....still have 14 wheels left.....

All wheel parts fitted 100%, it's a bit time consuming though....to get all 24 wheels finished.
