Here is my next build another marlboro livery i just love the look off the red and white colours i will be using zero paint again what else is there that is as good as these paints they are great and i will be using crazy modelers decals for this and i also have some c/f various sizes
had a few hours free today so did some more work on this one i got had enough of c/f decals so i had a play about with a pair of the wifes old tights to make a c/f look on some akward part i like the way it came out i painted the parts blak first stretched over the tights over the pats and lightly spray gun metal over and you have a sort of c/f pattern here are the pictures this is only my first try at this not bad effort
Also most of the bodywork has now been finished all i have left to do is the seatbelts and also the engine needs painting up had a bit of aproblem with the rear wing had to remove the top fin and strip and repaint white i have a spare decal and then i can put in place
Looks great! Very clever using the tights to get the carbon fibre effect too! What kind of paint is the Zero Paint? It looks like you've got a great finish with it.
Very nicely done, lovely finish and the CF looks the part as well.
I've never heard of the paint though, is it available in the UK?
yes the paint is avalible form Hiroboy.com - Scale Model Cars, Bikes and Accessories. and it is the best paint i have ever use i dont us any other now all the basecoat he sells need a clear coat over them and i then polish it up to look nice
this one is now finished all went well with this kit but my only gripe is the rear body does not fit that well i had to fit small tabs of plastic card under rear body so the fit is closebut ther is a small gap around the bottom lip but the right angle on a photo will hide that !.
