Matt Varnish, whats best?

I bought some matt varnish called Ghiant Acryl.

Guess what? It's not matt, it's more semi gloss

So what's the best matt, thats MATT varnish out of an aerosol (Coz me compressor is busted!) and is acrylic based?

I suppose if pushed i could get a can of air for me airbrush if pushed to it. (I really do not like paying for AIR!!)

Thanks for any help,

Sav.

I bought some Humbrol matt and guess what that didn't look matt either, I was talking to a guy in the model shop the other day and he won't use anything other than Vallejo matt.

If you ever need to make any paint matt, just add talc to it,that is all the manufacturers use the finest ground pumice.

Hi Richard,

Wheres the best place in the UK to buy vajello matt (preferably in aerosol)?

I think thats the problem with my models - They're to glossy.

Cheers,
Dave

Well I get mine from the LHS, but you could try this place:

MAELSTROM GAMES

Pretty good, I dont think you pay p&p and its cheaper than i pay for it in the shop!

Richard
