Well, I've made some progress this week. I have all the ribs in and the tip. Tomorrow I'll turn the board around and build the aileron.
(Boy! Thats a lotta ribs!)

I pretty much finished the wing panel yesterday. I still need to cap strip the bottom and sand a little.
It weighs 21 oz and will pick up another oz or so with the bottom cap strips.
So, here's the question. Having never built in this scale before I don't know if that's good or not. If it's too heavy, maybe I can redesign the wing to cut it down a bit. Let me know what you think.

That wing truly is a work of art! I’m sure the weight will be OK, you’re following the full size construction so closely and it worked for them.
