That's the way to do it.  You can always add more, 'though I don't think this needs more, it looks great, but you cannot take it away.

I like the light chipping.

Did you use a sponge?

Yes I did! It's quick & fairly easy that way - I'll do a touch more with a fine brush once I've done some streaking with oils.

Got the tools painted & fitted

And added the schürzen brackets & the schürzen themselves. A note to John & Tommy who are building much the same kit; the brackets are fiddly to fit. Be methodical & work from one end to the other. This makes it much easier to keep the brackets correctly orientated - guess how I know  :$

Just a few bits left to do & some final weathering.

Thanks for looking in

I've got the wheels on & the tracks done. They were a real PITA & fought me all the way, but I won in the end (not without a fair amount of cursing!)

I'll add some pigments to them before I join the upper & lower hull sections.

I've also made up the brass schürzen. Lots of fiddly bending & gluing of the retaining brackets.

Eek! Fine looking work Patrick, how you manage with those really tiny parts defeats me!

John it would be so much easier with a proper pe hold & fold tool, rather than my collection of tweezers! But thank you! :smiling3:
