Made a start on this one got all the motor and battery connections fitted, but I can't try it out, I've got no AA batteries. I will need to go to the shop.

Got some more done to this. All the road wheels are put together and primed. Also got most of the upper hull done.

I thought it was a Tamiya kit looking at the box art ian I shall follow this build as I'm planning to do a couple of challys this year

I'm doing the salt method on one of the oil drums as if it's an old one beaten up a little.

Looks fun. You have turned out a nice looking model from an old, simple and very cheap kit. I have heard of 'the salt method' but not tried it. Interested to see how it turns out.

noce looking job so far. Looking forward for the 'salted' barrel. I have tried it on a volkswagen kit and I quite like the chipping effect you get with this method.
