Peter. Should be finished today.

Mick - Cheers. My daughter's a better modeller than I am.

Hi Peter
That is superb. I do like these more colourful figures.

Thanks Jim - Nice to get away from field grey.

He's done:

Just the hands holding the guns to do today. Again the quality of the finish on these parts wasn't great and I did have to scratch and replace some of the fiddly bits.

A couple of arty shots:

The legs sprawled behind him on the right are those of Nelson, just hit by the sniper's bullet.

Morning Peter

Superb finish, cool backdrop photos too.

Holidays at home play hell with your routines, and the only thing that has happened to my bench is another layer of dust!

Are you visiting your grand daughter this weekend?

Have a good one

Jon - Many thanks.

Steve - Morning. You're forgiven - I hope you've had a relaxing week. Yes, off to Lewes for a few days. They all sound a bit sleep deprived, so no doubt it's my turn.

Steven - Many thanks for looking in. Glad you like him.

I know you like you figures but you should do busts all the time - they are absolutely stunning. The waistcoat has come out particularly well. The hair around the back is wonderful. Another top piece of work. Well done sir:thumb2:

Very nicely finished. The blue coat looks spot on.

Peter
Ps - have you had a chance to meet your grandchild?

Sorry not to have replied sooner chaps. I'm currently at my daughter's place learning how to be a Granddad. I'm glad to say that the old nappy changing skills have not deteriorated in the 15 years since I last used them. It looks like I'm going to be spending quite a bit of time here over the next few months, which is seriously going to affect the time spent modelling.

Steve - I would do busts exclusively if I could afford to. In terms of value for money [the amount of time they take to put together] I have to eke out a meagre budget with cheaper plastic figures.

Peter - I'm glad you like him. I was pleased with the way that this one turned out.

I think its time for you to nip to B&Q for a small toolbox to use as a mobile painting kit!

Morning Peter,

Sounds like a good plan from Peter, for the next few weeks/months/years.

All that feed, burp, nappy change, sleep and repeat, then deal with your grand daughter inbetween!

Hopefully back to something like nearly normal soon

Have a good day

Regards

Steve H

Fernando - Thank you.

Peter - I've been thinking along those lines.......

Steve - Granddaughter's having a blast - everyone else is knackered.
