This will be my next build The Tamyia offerings of the LRDG Jeep and Chevy. I will build each one separately as I am not one of these guys that can have lots of builds on the go at the same time. I hope you can join me and keep me on the straight and narrow.

I don't just want "another" desert diorama, so those of you with a good imagination I would like to hear your ideas . I have some thoughts but I would love to know your ideas. It can't be to big as I have limited space ideally no bigger than an A4 picture Frame.

Thanks Scottie

Nice.
How about a meeting? One going one way, the other the other by a small oasis, bridge or derelict building....or a combination of all three. One half stuck in sand perhaps?

Whatever you come up with, bring it on Paul!

A terrific idea for a dio. Going through an Arabian street scene would be nice. Stopped at a well. Working out which way to go etc. Whatever you decide mate I am sure it will be masterful. I have a stack of these photos as a walk around if you need them

My idea, once upon a time, was to recreate the 1/76 scale Matchbox kit/diorama in 1/35 scale as closely as I could, then display them side by side. Other than buying the Matchbox (well, then and now, Revell) kit and a Tamiya Chevrolet, though I never got beyond starting the former without finishing even that.

Jakko,
I'm not familiar with that, I will have to look it up. Glad your looking in.
