Hello there Laurie, glad to see you. I am very pleased to see that you are still modelling and enjoying the hobby.

Unfortunately, my health has deteriorated vastly over the past year so anything smaller than 1/18 is a struggle with bad hands. I am still into the 1/16 scale RC models so they keep me busy but slowly at it.

Take care. Si.

Good to hear from you Si. Missed you man :smiling4:. Sad to hear things not as good as hoped.

Keep at it as I am sure that retards any progression of problems.

Got a few problems. A little finger with sinew problems which wants to enter a loop that
I persistently try to deny. Grandsons who take the mick, love them.

Look forward to seeing your work & having many chats.

Laurie

Yes indeed.
Born the same year as my hero Prince Charles, but I'm a bit older, so he'd better show me some respect!

Ah you are still a young man then Ron.

Love the picture. I assume a Motor Gun Boat RN. Not with us now but a chap in Jersey here had one which he converted to a pleasure boat.

Mh thought it a Gun Boat. My father worked on the Rescue Launches on the Thames. He used to take
me on a Saturday, he was a carpenter & joiner, & was given the task of crawling up the bow to clear
all the dust & plane shavings.

Quite a guy he used to work late for the war effort. One night it was windy. The workshop was on
an island in the Thames. The dinghy went over & dad landed in the drink. The family giggled but
he did not see the fun in it. Well he did later
