Evening. It's come to my attention that certain forum members (namely me), may have been moaning about individual track links.

I would like to officially withdraw all and any negative statements I may have made on the subject.

Having completed one track ( no, it hasn't taken me 10 days. I've had no bench time at all) I've found it totally therapeutic.

They look so much better than the moulded ones and are a joy to handle. They remind me of worry/ rosary beads.

Anyway. Raining tomorrow, so apart from the Mrs taking me for a drive in her new car, it'll be all hands on track.

Thank you for your kind interest in this matter and here's hoping for some progress this week.

When I did my Famo, I thought that they where the best link tracks I had everhad the pleasure of. Easy to build and worked very smoothly. The effort you put in is showing Dan.

Hi Dan, she's coming along nicely, that trailer though will make the Famo seem like child's play.

Was gifted a Famo tractor without trailer, am running a thread on here somewhere, have been so busy
she's been neglected as of late.
Battled covid in April and emerged victorious, and since have been adding to our livestock, clearing land and building a smallish barn for
our new herd of goats (25).

Hope to get back to the bench soon, in the meantime I'll be checking in to see how you are doing.
I sympathize with your track woes, but I do have 95% of mine done.

Cheers, Jim

Yeah Dan, things slowing down a bit round the homestead so I should be getting back to the bench very soon.
Goats? well why not, they are very hardy and easy to care for, besides they're great on the spit with butter, garlic and lemon:hungry:;)

Jim.

Jim. I'll be honest, I've been hoping and waiting for you to fire up your Famo thread again. Glad you've beaten the bug, but 25 goats ?

I was brought up by a Billy goat, my parents couldn't afford a nanny.

I thank you, I'm here all week.
We REALLY need a groan emoji!

Me too - wish all the others were as easy to assemble! (Belated) Congratulations Mr Tamiya!

Thanks for the kind words, folks. Sadly I'm off up-country for a few days so no modelling until Wednesday at the earliest I would think.

I'll have a plan of action by then I hope.

/ Not the old " Oh, I know, I'll do a diorama with the famo in a workshop having a front end refit" plan either.
