Hi Lee
As I said on the build thread this is a real silk purse from a sow's ear. I reckon you've done a great job.

I'm with Mr. Smiff, Lee. Not a big wing thingy builder, but this has turned out really, really great. I love the outdoor pics too. As a kid, I always loved these Monogram 1/4 scale airplane kits. The best part was building them with all the working parts like folding wings, flaps. bomb bay doors and landing gear. I had to save my allowance for quite a while to buy one, but I couldn't afford the paints to finish it..............Ahhhh, those were the days my friend.................

Rick. Thanks my friend next is a 1/48 Spitfire I’m hoping this weekend it will be done.

Tim. Thanks for the nice complement not bragging but I have to agree she looks the part

Jim. Thanks again this this was a mess when I bought it but I’m happy with it now.

Mr. Smiff. Thanks for the complement glad you like it.

Allen. I’m glad you like it and thanks for the nice complement. I was looking last night at one of the Pocket Booklets that came with the Spitfire I’m building most of these were $1.50 in 1968 when I was born. I was thinking some kids had to save for weeks to get one of these. I like the moving parts too but can never get them to look right so I just glue them all together.
