Only managed a few this year. Conventional modelling tools were set aside for this one and I went hardcore with hammers and nails. Put up a great fight but it didn't beat me. Not for the faint hearted builder.

Folks, we wrote a few simple 'Rules' at the start of this thread asking that members don't post 'Likes' on photos presented for viewing.

Unfortunately some members have ignored this polite request.

John has been contacted with a view to removing the 'likes', but at the present time, this can't be done.

We know you mean well, but it's not fair when one picture gets numerous 'Likes' and others none. This is the reason we requested that none be used when we first opened this thread.

So, please, no more 'likes' If more appear, we fear this excellent thread could be locked......

Sorry about this post, but we had no choice.

Don't shout at us, we are just trying to be fair to all the members who have posted their work.

Cheers, and have a great New Year.

The Phantom was my favourite completed build from 2017, the Lightning a close second.

Hi,
2017 wasn't a particularly productive year for me and I only produced two builds and one of them was this below made just in time for the trip to Shizuoka. The title "Watch Out GI". The two kids on the upper stairs were scratchbuilt which was an achievement for me although their facial features resembled monkeys on close up. The building was also scratched. The other build was a charging ScotsGreys.

Just a reminder please don't click likes. Thanks

Cheers,
Richard
