Great progress ill be watching out for more updates. Just a thought for the roof you could add a odd bit of lichen or foam ground cover to the roof and if you wanted a bird nest tucked in..

Not done any more on the base yet but have managed to progress the Rover
added some windscreen wiper motor bosses for the removed wipers
front seats got some piping added to the sides and blended in with filler - need a bit more tidying up
back seat was cut into two cushions - various sink marks filled and the edge of the back seat was boxed in
the kit seat mounts were chiselled off, a task I should have done before fixing the floor pan to the shell as it would have been much easier
floor was then given a coat of the VJ red oxide to impart a bit of crusty texture
handbrake lever, gearlever, hi/low lever and foot pedals all added to interior pretty much finishes off the vehicle construction
dio needs a few props so....
made a start on a trolley jack

Thanks everyone - not far to go before paint....
Jim - actually not a new thing. A good few years back I made a rally Mini in 1/43 from an expensive white metal kit and scratched a workshop to sit it in which included a trolley jack
Spent most of the day making the trolley jack
then made a start on an angle grinder
good fun

Still burning the midnight oil I see. I don't remember you scratching a jack. Possibly before my time on the old forum.
The jack and grinder look excellent - mini models in their own right.

Beautiful floor jack Simon. I remember using one of these to park cars in an overcrowded garage I rented w/four other guys. 3 of us lost our cars when we couldn't make rent and got locked out. Easy come/easy go back in the 60s. PaulE
