Go on then, stick my name down. I have no idea what to build, but if we're not starting until September it gives me time to find something. :smiling3:

Edited to add: a quick Google search later and it's going to have to be an SR-71.

September looks fine for me. Count me in as I have a few recons in the stash...I mean reconnaissance kits.

Cheers,

I'm a tentative, I seem to recall an sdkfz222 resin kit. If I can find it I'm in.

The bit I am struggling with it the 'designed solely for recon'. All the things I have found in the stash are used for recon but built as something entirely different.
I'm still looking though.

So am I in or out? Just for clarification these are what I have and are they cleared for the build...

SR-71
FW-189 UHU
Piper Club Grasshopper
OV-10 Bronco
Kingfisher
Breguet Atlantic 1
SDKFZ 250 Grief
Humber Scout Car
Dingo
Greyhound

How about modifications like turretless Shermans and M5's? Just let me know then I'm set for September.

Cheers,
Richard

I make it:-
Ron
Ian ( papa 695 )
Colin
Tony
Paul ( beowulf )
Dave
Paul ( minitnkr )
Dave ( brussels )
Graeme
Bob
Richard
and could be Rick and Ian M if the kits count.
So it should be a goer.

Sorry for the late response. I've been away camping to hide from New Years Eve.

I can see just where this is going already.....So I'm not going down the road of discussing (for the next 8 months or so) just what is or has been modified for reconnaissance purposes and then having to make a decision as to whether that kit can be used for the G.B. or not.

So to keep things as simple as I possibly can and to make my life nice and easy, use your own initiative and if you think your intended model is, was, had or might just manage or could be used for the job, just build away.

I'll sort the start of the G.B. tomorrow when I've unpacked.

Once again, sorry for the delay

Cheers.

Right now it’s a goer, I need to find the PE for the Scimitar. But with the start date in September, I’ll look at Cosford for some.

Don't forget we still need official confirmation from Admin. that this G.B. can be up and running.
Once I have that I'll sort out the introduction for those taking part in the build.

Cheers.

Well there are 11 on the last list, and a couple of 'when I find the right kit' so it is good to go.
I will set it up and @spanner570 can make the official welcome.
Nice idea and we should get some interesting builds out of this one.
