Modellers should note that this vehicle has most or all of the late features: side bins on the turret, engine deck with raised grille, headlamps with surrounds, etc. If you’re building a Scorpion in the 1970s/’80s, not all of these may apply, so check your other references

When ex-MoD vehicles are registered for private use on the road they get an age related number plate based on when they were taken into MoD service
This one has a K plate which is 1971
It would therefore tend to suggest that the owner has updated an old chassis with newer parts to more reflect the later spec vehicles
