Caught up a bit and great stuff Paul, neat looking tarp and netting.

Love the small details like the various chains, tie downs and straps.

Great weathering too.:thumb2:

Thanks Scottie
Certainly very effective. I would not have thought of using x20. A couple of the pigment fixers I've tried have darkened the pigment and made it shiny. Ok for wet mud but less good for dry mud
I'm learning a lot from this build.

Jim, I try and keep things as simple as possible I don't go in for all these designer products and the X20 has always worked for me. Normally the only things to be learnt from my builds is do the opposite:smiling:

I think the build is just about done now. The components have been assembled and a few more bits added. The boys Anti tank rifle had the monopod added and the strap to the rear grip. Then the rifles were added a tin hat had the liner added and hung over one of them. It will get a final weathering when placed on the base which I still haven't worked out what I'm doing yet.

That is truly wonderful Paul!! You have certainly excelled yourself on this one. It really looks like a miniature of the real thing. Can't wait to see the base. I take it the jeep will be in with it as well?? Are you looking at palm trees and oasis?
