2 Airfix 1/48 Landrover WMIK British forces Snatch. Basically a Landrover Defender
but with flat sides a whole in the roof & a multitude of things which are nothing like
a Series 2 & 3 Landrover.

This is for my diormama in the Falklands of both British & Argentinian equipment.

Conversion involved. New roof, padded out sides below the windows, new windows
sides & rear. Reconstruction of the front the Defender's grille is flush with the front of
the wings. Recess the grilles back form the front & reconstruction of the bonnet.

DIY grilles to the front of the rad.

Hi Laurie,

I'm with Stevie on this as they are well done. A question if I may, What color green did you use on the series 3 LandRover??? My boss had a LandRover and the color is a dead match for his. It was also fun to drive…….

Also thanks Allen very nice of you.
Um ah um ah the colour made it up. Nothing near it in any range.

You are right I had a defender for a while. Great vehicle. except that it did not have anti lock brakes. Ended
up on the othere side of the road one day in the wet.
