Courtesy of Roy from Dio Dump this resin construction is my first attempt at creating a Dio. I’m in the process of building a Tiger and have ordered some “Panzer Grenadier’s” from the maker “Stalingrad”. I’ll be creating a cobblestone path and road to complete. All comments welcome

Building looks good. It’ll make a nice backdrop for the Tiger.

How’s your Bocage coming along Alan?

Getting there Steven. Just made a gate for it (pics uploaded) so need to weather that. Also i'm awaiting some spray adhesive for the tree foliage. Once they are done then i'm going to call it done and will move onto making some figures for it.

Forgive me Alan but will this be German or British/American? Where will you source the figures from? I’ve just ordered resin figures from the manufacture Stalingrad

It will be German and American. I was very kindly given a set of Dragon 12.SS.Pz.Div 'Hitlerjugend' figures and i also have a set of Tamiya American troops.. Bit i might try and find some British/Canadian troops as that is what this German division came up against in the Bocage and not American.

I have looked into resin figures and the ones made by Alpine Miniatures 1, Alpine Miniatures 2, Rado Miniatures, S&T Products and SOGA Miniatures look great.

Hi Guys,

Wanted some feedback on my first (not finished) diorama. Not sure everything is to scale (cobblestone may be too large) and the Tiger and figures need some serious work. I must say I do find the tank side of things quite intimidating, I’m always conscious of making mistakes regarding colours, camouflage and what goes where.

Looking good Steven.
Coming along nicely. :thumb2:
The street looks fine. As you progress with the build and you are not all together happy with the surface, simply hide it a bit with some muck and dirt..

I look forward to more updates.
Ron
