The light is not good but a couple if shots I have taken.IMG_20190610_060643.jpg

It's the North African village for my Pz F2

Too bright?
IMG_20190610_060344.jpg
Too dull?

Peter, the heads are for my next 1:10 busts.John, the centre back row is Sean Connery as Major General Urquhart from a Bridge too Far.
They are cheaper 2nds as no one seems to want to paint a known actor!
All good practise for me.
More when the light gets better?

Very nicely done indeed Steve. A great palette and very fine detail painting. Looking forward to the others.

As all my photos are on.my mobile, it's an attempt to load them from my phoneView attachment 340217

Has it worked?

And for motivation, these are on my desk, watching my progress

Sorry Peter, but they are so good they deserve a 2nd showing.

If this had worked there will be more tomorrow

I didn't know that Buddha appeared in Kelly's Heroes!

Thanks chaps
The natural light is "off the menu" for a while, the bright one was the mobile flash and a little too bright I think.
I was using your SBS Peter, but I have fallen somewhat short, though the next 1/2 dozen should help sharpen my
skills and eye for detailing the larger figures.
I think I will enter the Gordon's 92nd Highlander at Waterloo, into the figure GB.
I am even tempted to do a little sculpting too, as there is a GOT Tyrian figure from series one, which will be an excellent counterpoint to an upgrade to a bearded shaggy haired heavily scared Tyrian from series 8 .
I am hoping to be able to get back to 1:35 once my confidence is back with the faces.
I have a serious back log of 3 years of figures to paint!
As for the desk, Buddha keeps the boys from Kelly's Heroes in line whilst I am painting.
More when the weather relents.
Thanks for popping by

Steve,
that looks great mate. This is a question not a criticism the lamp on his shoulder would the sliders be painted white , red and green to show the filters or would it have been written on it. Not that it is important It's still a great finish.

Hi Steve
Missed this so just played catch-up. The end result is one to be proud of - looks great. As for your horrendous day last month I'm afraid it is common these days. The people who we contact to help us either don't care or don't have the knowledge or authority to actual do something.
