No it's just undercoat, as I'm sure you all know it's not going to be normal from me.

Hi all well not a great experiment but at least I now know, now I just have to see if oven cleaner will take the gold leaf off and the acryllic size.

I've also learned you cant mask with just masking fluid.

looks good so far, I think the gold will look great once more is on the frame where it will compliment the gold brake spider and calipers- are you doing them that colour?. The engine and frame look well finished so far, I would like to see the faring and tank in better light as the flash fall off is quite pronounced, I think it will photograph nicely in the sun .

will watch this one

Hi all well I'm learning lots with this build, oven cleaner takes the gold off ok but not the size, the size is still sticky so you could probably guild it again, if you try and sand it you get lots of little sticky particles all over the part that you cant get off white spirt wont touch it, but, eureka methylated spirits gets it off.

I have a Kawasaki ninja and its 3/4 built but it's nothing like what you have achieved here I found the piping brake lines hard to get right so it's in store till I get the motive to complete ( awesome build and I do like the gold leaf effect )
