Hi New on this forum, I will be starting this kit this evening after work, will be uploading progress pictures regularly,

anyone else done this one & any trouble spots to look out for?

Not built it but it's a lovely car. I see one every now and then bombing 'round Stoke (God know what it's doing here!) and it's a gorgeous motor. Especially the fire flying out of the exhaust!

Here goes, Ive been a bit engrossed in the kit so not much time for progress pictures, this is how far so far:smiling3:

Basic engine

PE parts for brake discs

Detailed engine alsmost complete

With lots of PE parts it looks the biz

Complete front axle

Some more parts done

Nice dashboard & cockpit its even got a PE gearshift grate

Complete chassis with engine installed, rear lower paint complete clearcoat over the decals works fine with tamiya sprays

Snug fit for triple exhaust

Bottom of chassis & floor

More PE parts sets it off great

Wheels fitted to chassis

Rear radiator covers fit perfectly

Now got to take care of the paintwork, Tamiya TS- sprays are excellent

Fantastic detail and very nicely painted and detailed. The trouble is it will be such a shame to cover it all up!

Heres the complete car, I chose to mask & spray the Red stripes, they come on the decal sheet but we all know how awkward larghe Ones are:D

With rear canopy open to see the engine, even the prop is Stainless steel

The detail on this kit is amazing and would recomend it to anyone

Nice one Neil, that looks very nice must have been a pig to decal up but it does look very good.
