You are doing a great job with this, love the extra engine detail. I lost patience with mine, my example was rife with sink holes and then the cowl sections did not fit.

Thank you very much Barry. I haven't tried the cowls yet. But as mine will be open (bar the gun bay)it shouldn't matter too much.

Pipes all joined together. Really not happy with how it has turned out but this will have to do for this build. Will do it totally different for the next Fw190 build i do. But i suppose this whole scratch detailing thing has just been one big learning test bed. so i shouldn't really complain.

Anyway. Time to add some more bits and get some better paint finish on it.

Cheers Bob. Not entirely happy with it. But I can live with it. Will be better next time.

Cheers guys.

Tony. I've just about figured out where the wires are to go. Obviously there are some missing details in the kit so the wires will have to be placed in the nearest position. But i think it'll look ok in the end.

Made a start on painting the wiring before i can 'fit' it to the engine parts. Thank god for the magnifying specs. Would have been a total pain without them. Looking ok. Might need another yellow coat on them before i fit them.

So i haven't touched this since May and whilst i am in the middle of painting my Bf109 i picked this up again. SWMBO bought me a little tube of super glue gel and i made a start on placing the wiring. Going ok even if there are a few swear words leaving my lips. Whole thing will need a touch up with paint afterwards but i'm sure it'll hide most of the crud.
