As a little light relief from the Ducati which is getting there I decided to start on this kit as I knew there woud be no hassle with it.

And the usual high quality decals.

For such a small machine the detail is really good.

So in between my bouts of fighting with the Ducati I can calm down putting this together, all parts are flash free and they fit perfectly.

Andy.

Certainly looks clean .
Like the look of the beast with those lights and detail on the rad, looks like a smiling face .

Too late Dave ;) I have already been there and that is one of the reasons I bought the kit. I doubt if mine will be up to that standard though.

Hi Andy
Not often we see a modern tractor model. This looks a nice kit, certainly it has a lot of parts.

Do your own thing I've learnt not to worry about other people's builds ,doesn't matter what you build if anybody wants inspiration it doesn't come any better than that ,looking forward to your build crack on Andy. Dave

This model is the very thing to keep me sane while the Ducati makes slow progress. All the parts are clean, no flash anywhere so far and the sprue gates are kept to a minimum and everything fits. :smiling:

Chassis almost complete, steering works and the front axle also oscillates.

Lots of small parts painted and some assembly done.

I must add that the figure is not painted, it came on the sprue with the gold wheels.
I reckon Hasegawa kits must be on a par with Tamiya as all the parts are flash free and fit together with no problems.

I said in the first post there would be no hassle with this build but the thin black outline decals on the windows were a very fiddly job to do without breaking them.

And fitting the tiny door hinges may test my skills a bit as they have to line up lest the doors will not fit.

Andy,

Sorry missed the earlier updates. That's coming very nicely indeed.

Well done.

Looking good. A working tractor would have a very mucky bottom. Well done with those black window decals. Like Scottie I think I would have used paint.

Andy,
Nice work, I would have given up with the decals and painted the black lines.
I had the same with the decals on the excavator windows so I painted them, but by the time you mask up and paint you save no time, anyway, a bit of patience testing fiddly work is character building, I wish I knew who said that as I would give him a slap. ;)

Andy.
