Finally, it's finished!P1060169.JPGP1060170.JPGP1060171.JPGP1060172.JPGP1060173.JPGP1060174.JPG

And, with it's Austrian companion the HobbyBoss ADGZP1060176.JPG

The HobbyBoss Saurer Sd.kfz. 254 is not one for the beginner - it's complex suspension and individual track links make it a tricky build. I'm not entirely happy, with the tracks, but short of taking them all apart. that's how they will stay! Otherwise, it's a bit boring - a nice gun turret would improve it.
Thanks for looking in...............

Very nice Dave.

It certainly is an unusual vehicle.

There's a fascinating story about one of these being recovered from a forest, restored to running condition and used to escape from Czechoslovakia in 1953. The vehicle is now in a private collection somewhere in the US!

Sorry I missed this at the time, Dave. It looks really good- and close competition with Richard Foenander's Maultier thingy for ugliest vehicle!
I'm not tempted, I have to say, but full marks for a challenging build :thumb2:

Hi Dave
A very pleasing result. It certainly is a strange vehicle. Looks like you got two kits mixed up :smiling: :tongue-out3:

Dave,
Well done, you overcame the problems and sorted out the niggles to produce this unusual subject. A credit to you.
Cheers, Mike.
