Finished, even been allowed to keep it in the house, mainly because there's not tank, and or debris. The only other model that is allowed to stay is Pete Days Russian, that has pride of place next to the photos of the Grand children.

Thank you Peter, he came out reasonably well, can't manage the eye of course but happier with the kit. Any way he's facing away from the viewer. :smiling3:

Turned out very nice John :thumb2:
Cheers Steven, makes a change not having debris.

Excellent result John.

There's that Dude 2 just showing off again......I'm gonna tell Mom on him!!!

Love the finish on the face of the building John. A real nice worn look to set off the roof and the windows. You definitely nailed that 40's look to a "T"...……………….

Hi John
Beautifully done. Shows that a simple idea can be stunning if executed with thought and skill.

Wow ! :surprised::surprised::surprised:Thank you for the very kind comments, certainly lifted my mojo after the failures with the Hobby Boss and BT-5 builds.
I enjoyed doing a building with out damage for once, perhaps more in the future ?
As for the bike, well PE and I don't get on, but for once I did quite well, have to admit there were a few brackets left off and the two part chain was beyond me a step too far.
If any ones interested this time I'd cut a section of clear plastic film for the glass and set into the frame and built the window up from there. Normally I'd have made the window separately and glaze the back then attempted to fit it into the opening. Definitely the way I should do things in the future.
Happy as Larry

Again no telegram, no email, no letter, no fanfare, no semaphore signals, no personal visit and no lighted hilltop beacons! How am I suposed to know you have finished your builds if you dont tell me mate?? :smiling5: :smiling2: :tears-of-joy:

I would have been devastated if I had missed this one. On of my favourite all time figure dios. Awesome work mate. I hope he has cash with him as they dont to contactless in the bakery:thumb2::cool:
