This is the first model I’ve built for a long time, since I used to build Airfix planes as a kid. It’s the first tank I’ve built and the first time I’ve tried all the weathering techniques.

I know it’s not historically accurate and it’s not as good as the stuff in the magazines and on here, but I’m quite happy with it, I’ve had fun, and I think I’ve learned a bit. I’ll probably build another Panther at some point to try and improve but I’ve got a T-34 to do next!

And thanks for all the encouraging comments and advice on my build thread.

Very nice Andrew:thumb2: looks like you didn’t loose your touch in all those years away, you should be very happy with your build:smiling4:

I think you have done a cracking job of this Andrew :smiling2:.
For me the main thing is that you had fun and learnt in the process.
Too many people get bogged down with accuracy and don't seem to make any models.I would rather see a model built and painted(to whatever standard) than have people point out historical innacuracies.
Keep up the good work and have fun fun fun.
