Ok I know this is a old kit but that what I do and enjoy. This is my second 1/35 kit I have ever build and I really enjoy this scale. I still have a lot of work to do on this including drilling out the guns and exhaust. I’m also going out of my comfort zone and try my hand at some figures to go with it. I will not be using the ones that comes with the kit I’m doing more of a Europen theatre. Hope you pull up a chair and enjoy54E7A82B-7CD7-4295-A219-34BDF14AAB80.jpeg57F5CDDC-38DD-40CF-A0AF-915F4B4F9049.jpeg0024C98E-5DAB-4B5B-825A-19BF44C7F99C.jpeg03FB6B13-4088-4AA7-96BD-1C43A7D26966.jpegBF95A22F-27C0-4354-9842-6FABD90532EA.jpeg

Hi Lee, looks like you have missed cleaning up a few mould lines

Exhaust, mg barrel, the main gun barrel and the curved armour plates on each side of the turret front

I have one of these old kits undergoing a total rebuild on here somewhere - you have reminded me that I should get back to it

Worked on the tank a little more this morning I had to redo the main gun the plastic was so old and brittle when I try to drilling it out it shattered so I replaced it with a small piece of aluminum tubing about the same size and done some work on the muffler outlet and also lightly weathering to the lower hull 838E0CF3-F598-4087-BB3B-EBCBD06CB704.jpeg3E8CBAD8-05FE-4CE4-95E3-A7B22BC93A1A.jpeg758F77AF-9A24-4009-AF06-EB033B511BC3.jpegBE7D407D-1DE9-4BF8-8B69-5803F613E3FE.jpegC1ECD4F3-296B-4910-B587-85FAA436CFE1.jpeg4AAEE532-BC40-4078-B1AC-352DE19CDEEF.jpeg3FF4E48E-3606-45BF-962E-2D27D7DD7292.jpegC2D35DB8-34BD-46C1-AE18-D4C53C69C0F3.jpeg7231DE97-B170-4A77-8A3A-1A3D91BAF708.jpeg395761DB-7C96-4AEA-BC23-27D8E7E8EAE9.jpeg3C9484B8-1EEE-447C-9762-8198B8982B7D.jpeg

Hi Lee
You're getting on fine. These old kits may have many critics but they build up into a nice tank model.

Thanks John I was getting worried when you were going to show up. All we need now is Mr Jones and Paul E to show up with the biscuit but at this rate I might finish this before PaulE bakes them. Thanks to Hawk Eye SimonT pointing out a few senior moments I had I almost let some mold lines slip pass me. Thanks for stopping by

I just had to work a little more this afternoon on this little guy. I think I’m going to stop here and start fresh on those tracks. I added the decals and weathered the top hull and made some slits for the headlights. Thanks for all your likes and comments 971CF06E-D131-4B67-BECC-58E094E791D6.jpeg2847C682-1B42-4A7C-8297-98DD98553D82.jpeg39394C76-BF5C-450C-9967-80D9DF38EB8D.jpeg007AF531-FF3D-4E21-B0E7-14E0E0560115.jpeg9873FCA4-1545-47A5-AC51-0C03648DF061.jpeg

Me too Lee,

Yours looks 100% better than my attempt from 30 odd years ago. It's still there in a box, waiting for a revival of sorts! Probably never happen in this life. Drive on Sir!!!

Lee, I'm glad you managed the main gun barrel. Things are looking up as you have made a lot more progress.
Cheers, Rick H.

Looking good Lee. Sharp eyed Simon to the rescue again.
I had to make sure those with higher tolerance hadn't shown up yet. Help yourselves to the cookies.
