1/35 Tamiya Panzer Kampfwagen II Ausf. Type F

Ok I know this is a old kit but that what I do and enjoy. This is my second 1/35 kit I have ever build and I really enjoy this scale. I still have a lot of work to do on this including drilling out the guns and exhaust. I’m also going out of my comfort zone and try my hand at some figures to go with it. I will not be using the ones that comes with the kit I’m doing more of a Europen theatre. Hope you pull up a chair and enjoy

Hi Lee, looks like you have missed cleaning up a few mould lines

Exhaust, mg barrel, the main gun barrel and the curved armour plates on each side of the turret front

I have one of these old kits undergoing a total rebuild on here somewhere - you have reminded me that I should get back to it

I noticed that I’m going to clean the exhaust up and drill the gun barrels out also bare with me

Worked on the tank a little more this morning I had to redo the main gun the plastic was so old and brittle when I try to drilling it out it shattered so I replaced it with a small piece of aluminum tubing about the same size and done some work on the muffler outlet and also lightly weathering to the lower hull

You're getting on fine. These old kits may have many critics but they build up into a nice tank model.

I just had to work a little more this afternoon on this little guy. I think I’m going to stop here and start fresh on those tracks. I added the decals and weathered the top hull and made some slits for the headlights. Thanks for all your likes and comments

I knew it was a easy build this is my second 1/35 model I’ve ever built so I played it safe it does builds up quit nice
