I had to do another 109 and got a deal on evil bay as it was missing the office. I ordered a replacement resin office and some eduard details to complete it.

I started adding the resin office and was surprised how well it fit

Well before Steve points it out;) I just realized its an Emil office,oh well its in there now so I'll live with it

I'm thinking of doing it up as Gallands mount JG26 circa 1941

Nice work Trey. Did all that resin drop in as easily as it looks to have done? I didn't see any signs of hacking and grinding!

Cheers

Steve thanks ,yes the fit was amazingly good. Roman,Ian thanks very much

I made some progress with the fuse and decided to go gear up and hang this one 'in flight' just needed some shims on the gear doors. Does anyone have any info on the tail color of Gallands mount,I'm finding conflicting info on the rudder. I found some show it as yellow and others not, thanks in advance cheers Trey

also note the 'seam' on the top is'nt visible in this pic

Hi Trey, I find myself in Aberdeen today with a pop group who should have stayed retired...what a racket. Without being able to check properly I'm as certain as I can be that the rudder was yellow (04).

Here's another piccy (doctored swastika) off my HD.

Cheers
