This is one I bought just to have some fun building and I knew it was a Vintage 1964 model but I like the plastic Revell used in 2011. I know it has lots of short comings but I have some aftermarket stuff coming so we’ll find out it it can turn into a halfway decent model. I started it last year and put it away discouraged because of the way I painted it and the way it went together. I got it back out today and went to work

Been working on this all morning. Enjoy the updates. First I cut some masking tape to hide those wide gaps that I should haves putty but me and mud don’t get along. Next I added the decals for a guide to hand paint the Gray camo on the rear side and bottom

Thanks Jim. This was my first P-40 in 1/48 scale I went back to try to correct what I did wrong on the wings and the pin marks I missed and other things I figured this one will be the one I learn on. The next one I will know it’s dirty little secrets
