On the top where the gunsight sits.... i have re-painted it Hu79 again as there are so many people with different ideas of what colour it is ment to be. So i have gone with the same colour as the rest of the cockpit.

The bit over the control panel behind the windscreen? It's visible in this colour piccy from Life and I think you are correct to go with the cockpit interior colour. You can sort of see it ,through the plexi glass in the other piccy.

Cheers

Hi again. The gloves and gauntlets varied in colour from grey to brown to black, however this lot were a very senior bunch of guys. They had the relatively rare black leather flying suits and I'd be amazed if the gloves didn't match. They were aware of their position. Below is a quote from Steinhoff describing their appearance to a group of elderly and shabbily dressed Volkssturm members drilling with dummy panzerfausts.

"We had to seem members of some highly priveleged class to them and infact we were. We wore new grey leather jackets with velvet collars and silk yellow scarves tied in an elegant knot. Gloves, gun holsters, everything was elegant and quite new"

Not specifically referring to flying gear but it gives an idea of their position.

Cheers

Steve

Black gloves it is then. Going to have to try and make then a slightly different shade so they don't blend in with the arms.

Wow that was a nasty gap! How was the fit with the fuselage at the trailing edge?

Don't panic Graham,I haven't started yet either.
