Wow Gavin, Beautiful work in such a tiny scale. Nice composition and paint work. A bit too small for my eyes though. Don't think optivisor lenses come in 10X for me to try 1/72. Top job Sir!!!

Excellent work Gavin. Camo is really nice, and you’ve gone further than me because I don’t add eyes on 1/72 minis…..

Many thanks for your kind compliments Allen. 1/72 scale is indeed tricky. There was quite a bit of assembly involved too, having to paint parts first before fitting, which made it even harder!

Regards, G.

Many thanks for the compliments Tim. With regards to the eyes two of the figures are aiming the riles so that made things slightly easier (painted closed eyelids) so there were 6 eyeballs to paint instead of 8!

Many thanks for your compliments Andy. A very steady hand is needed for 1/72 scale painting. Also I do precision engineering for a living so I'm used to some very fine assembly/repairs/soldering etc which is a different skill set but it's all relative, generally speaking.

You're also a figure painter yeah? G

I wouldn't call myself "a figure painter".... More a modeller who dabbles with them! ;)

That is excellent. You must have perfect vision and a very steady hand.
Thank you Jim; much appreciated compliments. I do need a bit of time off after this project; I feel mentally exhausted now! G
