hi folks I hope all are well

I run this up over the last week , a vinyl figure of the ABC war robot from the 1995 Judge Dredd movie

I am making a base but I think this will take a bit longer than a week , finding stuff for a 1/9 scale base is proving a bit of a problem ha

Anyway I hope you like it IMG_6490.JPGIMG_6491.JPGIMG_6492.JPGIMG_6493.JPGIMG_6494.JPGIMG_6495.JPGIMG_6496.JPGIMG_6497.JPG

Nice build Alan 45,
a great paint job ( I wish I could paint so well ) as to the base for the model why not scratch build one your self, get down to your hobby store and see what available and have a go no need to search round then and you can build it as large or small as you want.

cheers Barrie ( the old guy )

Thanks Baz , this is a basic paint job that anyone can do , it's all brush painted , the armour is painted in revell matte brown with some gunmetal dry brushed on to give the effect of scuffs and wear , the wires and tubing are painted black with more gunmetal dry brushing, the weathering is AK interactive streaking grime for dark green vehicles , that's it easy but effective

I've got the main parts for base but it's the little extra bits I'm struggling to find to make a decayed look and added detail that fit the scene

My scratch building skills aren't that great lol

Looks great Alan
Just the other day I was thinking,'why doesn't anyone do any good Dredd models' and here one is.
Great figure with a really good finish - excellent stuff!

BTW if you ever come across a Dredd figure astride the bike let me know!

Cheers

Yeah I'll let you know Paul , they do turn up on eBay every now and again but they are ridiculously expensive

I'm not very good at humility :p

This was a very simple paint job
