Morning Peter

Your slog has paid dividends 10 fold

Super work on the denison, it looks cracking.

Another day on the drapery and he will be close to finished.

They will make a great team when finished

Have a good day with the paint

Regards

Richard - They're great figures - really enjoying working on them.

Steve - We're getting there. Glad you like them so far.

Got the legs done today:

Quite a slow process working with Vallejo's English Uniform as it's quite a thin pigment - needs plenty of layers and some white adding to give it body.

Thanks Steven. I've certainly had fun with these two.

The second figure is finished:

100_2977.JPG100_2978.JPG100_2980.JPG

I've given him a minimum of equipment, just the Sten, water bottle and bayonet. The straps were made of paper as usual.

Now to mount them on the base.

Done:

The base was something that I began some time ago for another project, so I finished painting it and added some debris.

Many thanks to Richard again for the figures. This one has been great fun.

Bravo Peter this couple has turned out beautifully. Even the odd proportions are masked by your painting skills and the placement of the first guy's gun. A very fine addition to your cabinet.

Blimey! I am so slow! I read "second figure completed" and thought when did the first one get completed!!:smiling5::smiling3:

So I have had a good read through from where I stopped off before and had a wonderful time seeing the figures come together. I luv your bust's but these are something else. Well done mate:thumb2::thumb2:

Very well matched and great finish on both figures.

You have got back into the rhythm nicely after your short breaks
