1923 Ford Model T Roadster

I built this model over 40 years ago when I was 14. It's an AMT 1/25 scale Ford. I think it was only the 3rd or 4th model I ever spray painted. I was really proud of the Ford insignia on the spare tire cover. I painted the oval blue and wiped the paint off the raised white letters to reveal the white plastic underneath.

The engine isn’t very realistic but, if it looks familiar, that’s because it is a very faithful rendition of the AMT box art, including the orange fan belt.

It looks very good Neil. It's one of those things that gets you thinking if I had it again how much better could I get it.

That looks very nice. Its good to have items from your youth. Nearly all of my things got thrown out. I only have some items from school wood- and metalworking classes including a swivelling-top French-polished side table, and a 4-colour propelling pencil. (sob)
