Cheers Richard - I'm glad you can see some improvement.

I was a bit worried about the fit of the Brodie, but watching film of the era it's apparent that having a smaller head could make them look enormous.

Peter, the brodie isn't entirely a circle in circumference...more oval with the longest facing front and back. The rim has a slop that starts from the center front to the sides. Just look at my avatar. There should be a screw head on the top to secure the lining inside.

Thanks John. Ain't that new leather armchair great? Not bad for a bit of recycled fly-tipping.
I really don't think you can have anymore pleasure than finding a object like that, more so when it was thrown away. I had a captains chair once from Jewsons skip, enjoyed it for years, but became to big when the office became full.
