Black based;

The progressive lighter shades of grey painted on to the texture and the inscriptions picked out

Bit of weathering applied, brown green and blue washes.

Next will be to fix to the plinth and add ground clutter and a couple of jungle plants

Hi Steve
That photo with the paint bottle was a real surprise. I imagined it far bigger. The size definitely makes your work even more impressive. Base is nice.

Resin plinth, primed in Tamiya Grey, then i used a can of gloss black from poundland - disaster , paint bubbled up everywhere, so had to wipe it off and re prime, then painted with diluted Tamiya matt black, about 4 coats, followed by 2 coats of Tamiya gloss black. Wilkos own 'polyfilla' was applied to the top and the plinth glued into place.

Once dried it was painted in with Mr Colour 'Face' Shadow.

Then White glue randomly applied and 'Dio Dump' Jungle clutter sprinkled on from above and thrown onto the sides. After about 5 minutes a quick shake and Voila!
