I built this one a number of years ago, I received the kit as a Secret Santa gift in a different forum, it's a Polish manufacturer 'Plastyk' kit with a poor reputation for mold quality detail and accuracy etc, but, it's an A&AEE (Aeroplane and Armament Experimental Establishment) aircraft I knew from the reference books I had with a plan to convert the Airfix Javelin kit!

The basic is an FAW7 (which I need to build a different A&AEE Javelin that spent it's entire service life at Boscombe Down in overall dayglow orange!)

Hand painted Humbrol enamels, the worst two colours to use were white and signal red! (trainer yellow was also not good!)

The decals behaved surprisingly well despite being quite thick

Hard work but really satisfying when complete, I'll find another and build that dayglow orange FAW7 one day
