So Sunday saw me in the deepest wilds of Oxfordshire with my camera which I have now decided is f***ing useless for taking shots of fast moving aircraft! Even on a "landscape" setting which automatically focuses at infinity rather than try to auto focus each time I press the shutter button, the delay between pressing the button and the camera actually getting around to taking the photo was long enough to end up with lots of shots of empty sky or tailplanes exiting stage left...

Anyway I did manage to grab a nice few of the Vulcan as it did its stuff...

These photos are displayed in order - the first one is the Vulcan's first appearance in teh sky to the NE of the airfield while the last is it flying away, accompanied by a camera plane where they did some aerial photographs. Hope you enjoy...

Must have been an impressive sight Andrew, noisy too I'm guessing... Not seen a Vulcan since I was a little kid. Thanks for posting your pics.
