Like the magnet idea. My son does something similar with his Warhammer weapons, so they can be swapped around I think.

I used to use them for removable grilles and trim panels when I was heavily into custom car audio fabrication, so have a stash.

Crew arrived from Luckmodel at the weekend, sourced some 'spare' arms for the pilot from eBay to change things as I didn't want the model to be in a 'flying' mode. Just need to source a figure for him to interact with on the ground, maybe.

Added some tabs to the engine covers and the exhaust shrouds, else these would just be butt joint's with room for misalignment. Also dry fitted the tail unit and it seems to attach okay. There are a couple of gaps round the engine access panels, but looking at different images online, they are not a 'perfect' fit either, plus under some paint the gap should, hopefully, shrink. Its a big beast in 1/35 scale !
