Hi Guys!!

Her comes what lately left my assembly line: Academy's P-35A in 1/48 scale. This Kit is o.k. but not a highlight. I had to fill up many gaps during construction and the fit was not outstanding.

The decals were horrible, I had to use gallons of softener.

The model is painted in Silver (Revell No.90). It was followed by a washing with diluted oil paint and the use of different pastels. Everything was sealed with a matte varnish.

Hope you also have such a great summer like we have in Germany

Cheers

Stefan :D

Nice job stefan , you would never know it was a poor fitting kit. Loving the base too , the cracked concrete effect is amazing! 5 star job , cheers tony

Lovely work Stefan, yet another superb model build. The P-35 was the first 'modern' American aeroplane with an enclosed cockpit, metal construction and retractable landing gear. You can make out the heritage of the later P-47 in the P-35.
