The instructions run to just 2 sides of A4 - one side has the sprue map (needed as the sprues don't have numbered parts) and the colour schemes ...

And the other side is the build guide...

Hi Mark
Anything connected with Dolly Parton gets my attention. Why is this "Super Dolly Parton"?

Apparently when the T72 was upgraded with ERA the US decided to refer to it as the "Dolly Parton" enhancement - when it got more it became the "Super Dolly Parton"

A great addition to the GB Mark. I hope the build goes together well for you.

Initial impression - I think it is moulded in some sort of white cheese!

Start with the hull:

The return rollers are more like ice-cream cones but they'll be covered by the side skirts:

330843

And the wheels need some TLC too - they are barely circular and I'm not sure the holes are central:

Nice one Mark, good luck with the cleaning of the parts.

Will look pretty neat with all the ERA blocks on.:thumb2:

Not the ERA, the shape of the turret when that got thicker front armour.

Wheels cleaned up and primed:

330984

Start on the hull - need to remove the splash guard/water deflector and the front mudguards:

330985

Done - ready for the ERA blocks:

330986

And the turret before all the "bling"

I think I'll need to paint the lower hull, wheels and tracks before I add the top as the skirts will hide everything...

Hi Mark
You certainly have your work cut out with this. Not nearly as well formed as Dolly :tongue-out3:

Minor progress on the turret - cheek armour added ( or should that be "breast plates" added?

and INDIVIDUAL smoke dischargers - couldn't find the part that they mount to anywhere - its not number on the instructions and nothing looks vaguely like it on the sprues so I just chopped up some scrap plastic

ERA blocks added to turret - searchlight had a massive sink hole so it now has a 1:35 headlight lens

Jump forward a day or so ...

Apart from a coat or two of matt varnish - I'm calling this done ...

Thanks for watching
