fogmodels (50471 ) E bay, or direct from their shop https://fieldsofglorymodels.co.uk/collections/fog-models

The smoke candle chain will be very thin so no good with the above, but that's ok for tow chain.

Have a look at .https://www.rbmodel.com/index.php?action=products&group=134, there's a size chart.

Stuck, stuck, only to tow away a Russki with a 7.5 cm hole into !!! Not for towing, the bracket had a L shaped pin, this had a chain to attach the pin to the bracket to stop it being lost

Hi Bob
For small chains which hold locking pins and the like Aber do a set of PE chains. They are flat of course but for small chains they look the part.
Jim
Thanks Jim, the kit comes with flat PE chain for the smoke candles, but just looking at two of them made them break!

If you really want to, you can make your own chain, though I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you need to :smiling3:

Now I see what you ment, never seen any linked ones that size. The pe one's would be the type you need, but as you say they look like they will break , and they do !

Not sure if it'll be small enough, but what about a bit of an old silver jewelry chain - some of those are tiny.
I'll have a look in my O&S box and see what I've got.
Though this one isn't suitable (box link & gold) gives an idea of how small they go - the rifle is a 1/35 Mauser

I'll be able to have a 'proper' look in the box later to see what I've got

Just had a quick look on eBay, can get a 1 mm 18" silver belcher chain for £3.50-ish including postage - so not even worth me sending a few links for the price of postage!
No it's not, Bob will no doubt look in later and see your post Gerry. He probably in some field trying to start his beloved StuG .:nerd:

Just gone into how jewelry chains are measured - seems that they're measured across the link, rather than how 'normal' chains are, which is the length of the link, so probably a '1mm' silver chain would be about a '3mm' normal chain (just guessing though)
