A few days ago I watched a facinating documentary called "spitfire women" about the ladies who served in the Air Transport Auxilliary delivering all types of aircraft from factories to the front line. If you missed the documentary, keep an eye out for it being repeated, it is well worth watching.

The range is made up of subject I find interesting, and I am keeping away from the 'girly' type of females, preferring the more realistic, real subjects - hence the ATA pilot. There will be more such ladies and VC winners coming up.
